Quick Start Guide

This Quick Start Guide provides a brief overview of the setup requirements of your Hotelitix RMS account. We will cover the basics and include links to step-by-step instructions so you can successfully complete the configuration of your account.

The first part of the configuration process includes setting up your property shell. This includes entering basic details such as property name, address, class/star rating as well as room type information and rate types being offered. Head to the Settings tab on the left-side menu bar, then:

1. Select Property to: Enter or review property details
2. Select Room Types to: Create or edit room types
3. Select Rate Types to: Create or edit rate types

Once the above details have been completed, we can proceed with Step 2 below:

Setting up your Comp Set is very simple. Head over to the Market Insight tab on the left-side menu bar, select Competitive Set and click the setup (gear) button from the calendar strip. You will be directed to the Edit Comp Set page where you can add/remove competitor properties as desired.

The Final step in your start up configuration is to set your control limits for the CoPilot automated pricing engine. You will want to set a price floor (minimum rate) and a price ceiling (maximum rate) so the RMS rate decisions follow your desired strategy. To update these settings go to the Rate Management tab on the left-side menu bar and select CoPilot.
