CoPilot Rate Controls

CoPilot allows Hotelitx apprAIse users to automate their rate management strategy based on all of the internal and external data that the RMS collects. Additionally, users are able to set minimum and maximum rate control limits to define how low or how high the rates can fluctuate. CoPilot rates are optimized on average every 15-20 minutes of the day.

Hotelitix apprAIse maintains a full 365-day window of updates continuously. It is recommended that users set minimum and maximum rate limits for at least 400 days out. This ensures that dates outside of the update window can be automatically managed once they roll inside the 365-day window.

House Occupancy - Displays physical occupancy of the property

House Availability - Displays total number of rooms available

Booking Pace Index - Displays the pace of booking for the current year relative to the same time last year. An index of 75 means that your current booking pace is 25% slower than the same time last year.

Maximum Rate - Enter the maximum limit (price ceiling) to be used for the RMS Base Rate
Minimum Rate - Enter the minimum limit (price floor) to be used for the RMS Base Rate
RMS Base Rate - Displays the Hotelitix apprAIse rate decision for the RMS Base Rate

My Shopped Rate - Displays the lowest rate found for your property during the rate shops.
Comp Set Avg - Displays the average rate of the comp set
Shopped Rate Index - Displays the relative difference between your property's rate and the competitive set average. An index of 80 means your rate is currently 20% lower than the average of the comp set.

Note that min/max control limits must be set for the RMS Base Rate rather than for specific room types. Hotelitix apprAIse will derive individual room rates by using a combination of the RMS Base Rate + the Room Differential preconfigured for each room type in the Room Differentials section.

Users can also manage CoPilot limits using the Bulk update slider (blue flash button) on the upper right side of every page. This feature makes updating CoPilot limits for long periods much faster and easier for the user.
