Manage Rates

The Manage Rates section allows users to view their room rates in detail. They can set rates to run in automated CoPilot mode (default), manual mode (overrides) and hybrid mode (combination of auto and manual).

• Avail - Displays the number of available units for this room type
  
  
• Rate Type / Published - Displays the rate that has been published out to your PMS or connected channel.
  
  
• RMS Rate - What you see in the RMS Rate field will vary depending on whether you are operating in automated CoPilot mode or in manual Override mode:
  
  Automated CoPilot mode - The RMS Rate box will display a green checkbox letting you know that the room rate is being optimized automatically and you don't need to take further action. 
  
  Manual Override mode - The RMS Rate box will display a blank checkbox along with the current RMS rate recommendation. You can review and accept the rate recommendation in 1 of 2 ways:
  
  

1. Click the RMS Rate checkbox once to accept the RMS rate recommendation (checkbox will turn blue). Hotelitix apprAIse will accept and publish the rate recommendation and continue in manual Override mode. 
2. Click the RMS Rate checkbox twice to accept the RMS rate recommendation (checkbox will turn green). Hotelitix apprAIse will accept and publish the rate recommendation and return to automated CoPilot mode.

When overriding rates, users can make a change to their Lead room rate and click the Autofill down arrows to calculate the corresponding rate for the other room types. Hotelitix apprAIse will apply the preconfigured Room Differentials to the Lead room rate when using Autofill.

Extra tip: Click the Copy Across button next to the Lead Room to apply autofill to all dates in the calendar strip.

Users can also manage room rates using the Bulk update slider (blue flash button) on the upper right side of every page. This feature makes updating room rates for long periods much faster and easier for the user.
