Add / Edit Comp Set

To configure your comp set head to the Market Insight / Competitive Set page. Click the blue cog button to enter the Comp Set Configuration page. 

To add a new comp set property, locate the hotel in the Select Comp Set section and click Add.
If this is your first time setting up the comp set, make sure to add your hotel as the first comp set property.

After clicking Add, the Value Score window will open where you will be able to grade the comp set property according to various value factors. Hotelitix apprAIse will use these scores to set weights for the comp set based on the overall estimated value they provide.

Users can grade each of the comp set properties (including your hotel) on each of the below value factor categories:

• Location
• Star Rating
• Guest Reviews
• Amenities
• Marketing
• Rooms

Use the slider to move the score between 1 (poor) up to 100 (excellent) or simply enter the desired value score in the right side box and click Save.

Use case example: A hotel situated on a busy or noisy street may not score as high as a hotel situated in a quiet street or on the beachside.

While these scores are subjective, they help the RMS more accurately assess the real value each hotel in the comp set is offering.

To change the value factor scores for any comp set hotel previously added, simply click on that property in the Primary Comp Set section. The Value Factor Weights window will reopen, allowing you to make the desired changes.

To delete any of the comp set hotels simply click the trash bin located at the right side of the comp set listing.
