The Pickup Summary page gives you a clear, month-by-month view of how future bookings are shaping up. It highlights when guests are booking, how many rooms are being picked up, and the quality of those bookings — all in one simple grid.
This page is especially useful for spotting booking trends early, identifying demand surges, and understanding long-range pacing behaviour.

1. Top of the Grid
- Pickup Window: Choose how many recent days you want to measure pickup from — for example, 7-day pickup. All RN and ADR values update instantly based on your selection.
- Show ADR Delta: Toggle this option to switch ADR values into ADR Delta, showing how new booking prices compare to your current OTB ADR.
- Positive Delta → New bookings came at a higher price
- Negative Delta → New bookings came at a lower price - Export CSV: Download the complete summary exactly as displayed in the table.
2. How the Table Works
The Pickup Summary is designed in a calendar-style matrix:
- Rows represent Days of the Month (1–31)
- Columns represent upcoming Months
- Each month contains two values:
- RN: Rooms picked up during your selected window
- ADR / ADR Delta: The pricing of those pickups
This format helps you scan booking activity across the next 12 months at a glance.
3. What Each Cell Represents
Each cell shows recent pickup for that stay date:
- RN → Number of rooms booked (or cancelled, if negative)
- ADR → The average rate at which those rooms were booked
- Shaded Bars → Visual indicators of occupancy
- Smile Emoji (😊) → Next to the RN values, emojis represent the pickup performance of that date:
- 🙂 Green smiley: Pickup is greater 10% of capacity.
- ☹️ Red frown: Pickup is below the negative expected threshold.
Negative values in red (such as –1, –3) indicate net cancellations for that date.
4. Monthly Totals
At the bottom of each month’s column, you’ll see:
- Total RN collected during the window
- Average ADR of all pickup activity
These totals provide a quick snapshot of month-level demand.
5. Why Pickup Summary Matters
The Pickup Summary is a powerful tool for:
- Identifying Demand Surges
- Monitoring Weak Periods
- Evaluating Booking Quality
- Planning Revenue Strategy
- Understanding Seasonality
6. Real-World Examples
- High Pickup with Strong ADR: “RN = 4, ADR = $149” → Great demand at a healthy price.
- High Pickup but Low Quality: “RN = 3, ADR Delta = –$12” → Bookings are coming in below your current rate.
- Negative Pickup: “RN = –2” → Cancellations outweigh bookings.
